January 25-February 1, 2026 is proclaimed in BC as Family Literacy Week. Schools will be engaging with families in different ways to promote and celebrate literacy. The theme this year is "Make Mealtime Family Learning Time," encouraging families to turn mealtime into opportunities for connection and learning. Check with your school to see what they have planned.
